Work Experience


For graduation transitions a minimum of 30 hours of work experience is mandatory to meet graduation requirements. There are four options below for students to complete this requirement:

  1. If students are already registered in the 90hour work experience program- those hours fulfil the 30 hour graduation requirement.
  2. If students have a paid job they can use those work hours towards completion credit. Students just need to bring a pay stub to Mrs. McKinlay  in the career programs office to start this process.
  3. Students can submit their current/recent volunteer work for credit (a letter on official letterhead from the organization is required to start this process).
  4. Daily, new volunteer opportunities are posted on   if students are interested in an opportunity they can see the teacher for more information.
