For graduation transitions a minimum of 30 hours of work experience is mandatory to meet graduation requirements. There are four options below for students to complete this requirement:
- If students are already registered in the 90hour work experience program- those hours fulfil the 30 hour graduation requirement.
- If students have a paid job they can use those work hours towards completion credit. Students just need to bring a pay stub to Mrs. McKinlay in the career programs office to start this process.
- Students can submit their current/recent volunteer work for credit (a letter on official letterhead from the organization is required to start this process).
- Daily, new volunteer opportunities are posted on http://blogs.sd41.bc.ca/alpha-careerprep/ if students are interested in an opportunity they can see the teacher for more information.
